New Asiago Fresca™ Joins Saxon Family

Saxon Creamery has added Asiago Fresca™ to its line-up of handcrafted cheeses made from the milk of a single herd on the shores of Lake Michigan in northeast Wisconsin. 

Made by Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker® Jeff Mattes, this younger version of Asiago is made with whole milk cheese and aged for four to six weeks, rotating through three different aging rooms to develop its unique sweet and slightly tangy flavor. With a creamy, smooth texture, Asiago Fresca melts well into main dishes, pizzas and appetizers, or can be served as a table cheese.
