LaClare Family Creamery Creates a Wisconsin Original Mixed-Milk Cheese

Go-Co Cheddar is a Wisconsin original LaClare Family Creamery™ cheese produced by blending creamy Wisconsin cow’s milk cheese curds with tangy goat’s milk curds straight from the vat. The result is a marbled blend of nutty and creamy cheddar that makes a perfect addition to any cheese board, sandwich or melted for a decadent macaroni and cheese.

Head cheesemaker Katie (Hedrich) Fuhrmann of LaClare Family Creamery is the youngest cheesemaker to win Best of Show at the U.S. Championship Cheese Contest. In 2015, Fuhrmann was awarded the 2nd Place Best of Show ribbon at the annual American Cheese Society (ACS) for LaClare’s cave-aged Chandoka handcrafted in Malone, Wisconsin.
