History:

Bletsoe Cheese Factory was one of the original factories in the town of Hamburg, Wisconsin, in the 1900s, and it's the last one in full operation today. Since buying the plant in 1983, Bonnie Bletsoe and her son Mark Bletsoe have been the owners and licensed cheesemakers of Bletsoe Cheese, Inc. The process they use to make cheese involves a "hands-on" procedure, and so does the distribution - Bonnie and Mark have developed routes within a 100-mile radius where they can distribute their cheeses as well as cheeses from other area cheesemakers. Their hands-on, old-fashioned cheesemaking tradition results in the freshest, squeakiest curds and a variety of other cheeses you're bound to love.
