Adopt a Cow Program Helps Kids Across Wisconsin Learn About Dairy in a New Way

The Adopt a Cow program from the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin is in its second year, after a first year that far exceeded expectations with over 1,600 classrooms and 28,000 students participating statewide.  With the goal of the program to establish trust in farms, youth become engaged to learn about agriculture and the milk they drink every day at lunch but they also become attached to the cows and are eager to hear updates. Read about the program here.
