The Dairyland Momager runs the household, the herd, and the 4-H club like a pro. Her day starts at ‘Are-you-kidding-me o’clock’ and ends sometime next week. She can braid a show heifer, pack a bake sale, and still find everyone’s missing boots.

She’s the real power source behind every dairy farm — running on heart, humor, and a touch of chaos.

The Truth Behind the Humor

Farm moms are central to both the household and the business. They balance caregiving, operations, finances, and often hands-on work in the barn. Increasingly, women are taking on visible leadership roles in dairy, shaping decisions and driving progress.

Meet the Person who was Born to Dairy

The dairyland “momager” herself, Millaine Wells, is no stranger to Wisconsin dairy. Known across the state as an ag broadcaster and TV personality, she also wears another hat: dairy farmer! Millaine and her husband are part of his 5th generation family farm in Kewaunee, WI, alongside their two boys. And in true momager fashion, Millaine showed up to the studio juggling it all—three duffle bags, two kids, grandparents, and still camera-ready (honestly, we’re still trying to figure out how she did it).

Fun fact: the baby pictured is the son of DFW Public Relations Manager, Abrielle, who also grew up on a dairy farm!
